How to participate

1. Check in at the Blue Moon Costume & Tacky Light Contest tent at Sports Backers Stadium from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
2. Wear your costume and/or lights while ride.
3. Winners will be notified after crossing the finish line.
4. Winners must return to the Blue Moon Costume & Tacky Light Tent to claim their prize.

Official Rules

1. All Blue Moon Costume & Tacky Light Contest entrants must be registered participants in the Anthem Moonlight Ride and must have signed the Rider's Agreement, Waiver, Release and Acknowledgement on the race registration form.
2. All contest participants must keep their bib number visible.
3. The contest is open to all legal residents of the United States. Employees of the Metropolitan Richmond Sports Backers and their immediate families are ineligible.
4. All contest participants must check in at the Blue Moon Costume & Tacky Light Contest tent between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Judges will then deliberate to decide the winners.
5. Contest entrants must wear their costumes during the Anthem Moonlight Ride to be eligible to win.
6. Winners will be posted at the conclusion of the race at The Blue Moon Costume & Tacky Light Contest Tent. Winners will also be posted on www.sportsbackers.org.
7. By entering the contest, an entrant acknowledges his or her consent to the use of his or her name, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising or trade, without compensation, unless prohibited by law.
8. Entries will be judged by the Metropolitan Richmond Sports Backers and select event partners. Decisions of judges are final in all matters pertaining to the Blue Moon Costume & Tacky Light Contest. Judges reserve the right to withdraw the contest or make changes at any time. Sports Backers at their sole discretion shall name any and all judges.
9. By entering the contest, an entrant acknowledges his or her agreement to the above rules and restrictions and permission to use entrant’s name, address, email and phone number for marketing and promotional purposes.
