Safety is our top priority (followed closely by FUN, of course!) so please take note of the following:

RULES:

• Helmets REQUIRED for cyclists and passengers.
• Front and rear lights REQUIRED (You will receive a blinking light for your rear light but must provide your own front light).
• Obey all traffic signs and lights.
• Follow the instructions of Police Officers and course marshals.
• Ride in the same direction as the automobile traffic.
• Stay on the right side of the street: ride no more than two abreast.
• Riders may not pass the lead vehicle.
• Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

SAFETY TIPS:

• The course is open to vehicles – PLEASE show extra caution!
• Bicycles should have front and rear reflectors.
• Ride slower and more cautiously than you would by daylight.
• Wear white or light colors for visibility.
• Bike strollers should have reflectors and vertical flags.
