RICHMOND, VA – With race day seven weeks away, the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by MARTIN’S is filling quickly. As of Thursday, February 28, over 30,000 people have already registered for the 14th running of the event on April 13. Another 900 have registered for the Virginia 529 Kids Run.
Registration for the 10k and Kids Run is available at www.sportsbackers.org. The cost to register is $35 for the 10k is $35 and $15 for the Kids Run through February 28. The entry fee for both events increases by $5 on March 1. The 2013 Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k will accept 40,000 entries.
